Shooting Into The Sun

Some people say you shouldn’t shoot into the sun, however, I think you can get interesting results sometimes.  The sun flare provided by the sun can be a cool effect.  I really like it on the image below.  I could have easily avoided the sun flare by adjusting my angle, but the flare really gave this image a unique look that would have been really kind of boring without it.

I threw some Topaz Simplify on the background with a mild Gaussian Blur to break up the Simplify pattern.  That is all for today, I am working pretty hard putting some finishing touches on my submission for Wednesday’s HDR Concert.  I usually have these things done long before the submissions and for the most part I did, but I woke up this morning with a killer addition that I just had to put in!  I hit me when I found this image with the sun flare.  See you all Wednesday!
