Cross Processed Photoshop Effect

Ever wonder how some photog’s get those awesome Cross Process effects on their photos?  No, I am not talking about the one click kitsch iPhone aps that I hope will soon spontaneously combust.  I am talking about good  old Photoshop effects to make that awesome cross processed effect.  Ages ago it was done by processing film in chemicals that were intended for other types of film.  You can read all about it on wikipedia.  However, these days Photoshop makes everything much simpler.  In this tutorial I will show you how you can get this cross processed effect using curves and several other simple techniques.  Check out the before and after to see if this is something that interests you.
